I entered the Philippines Constabulary/ Integrated National Police in 1985. I always pray to our Lord Jesus Christ to give me strength and wisdom. I also ask him to protect and sustain me in my service so as to overcome challenges and problems I pass through in my life. Every morning, when I arrived at Camp Crame, I was going directly to the Church and pray to the Lord Jesus Christ. He always protected me and was my shield for all the activities conducted by the PC/ SAF Philippines, Constabulary, Special Action Force (Elite Unit) based at Camp Crame, Quezon City.
For 800 applicants, the quota was 100 nationwide. With the guidance and blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ, I was able to be no.3 among others applicants. I thank God for that and I believe that God is always with me. In all our activities during our training, I was always the top 1 both the Academe and non-Academe.
In February, 1986, during the First EDSA Revolution, when Cardinal Sin led the Ouster of President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Sr. in Malacañang, we were members of the PC/ INP defense Camp Crame. We were always praying to our Lord Jesus Christ for the peaceful talk negotiation so that no blood would pull down to the grounds. When President Corazon was inaugurated as the president of the Philippine Government, Colonel Gringo Honasan led the Quodata against the Cory Government. The Arm Forces divided the Righties / Rebel Soldiers (Military vs military). With the help of our Lord Jesus Christ, we defeated them from1987 to 1989. Our war covered Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
In 1990, the Philippine National Police (PNP) was Created under RA.8551. Then, I joined the PNP. I was attending all the Church activities every Sunday conducted at the ABSCBN with different units at Camp Crame as scheduled. I encouraged my comrades to join the K of C, and other Catholic Religious activities in order to follow the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. Even in the Bestlink College of the Philippines, I encouraged the students to join the K of C. Now, I encourage all my comrades to attend the Holy mass, pray the Rosary every day, asking the help of Mama Mary, and to read the Catholic Bible.
