My name is DZUNA FOTSO Olivier Kevin. I am the second of a union of 3 children. I am a young Cameroonian of 24 years old. I am Son of Saint Guido Maria Conforti and therefore, belong to my warm family, the Xaverian Missionaries.

Before entering my Xaverian family, which I describe as such today, I was very well shamed or framed by my parents, which favored me an excellent academic path from my beginnings until I obtained my Bachelor's degree. I loved Literature and wanted to become a great journalist. I had in this sense all the encouragement of my parents. Like the majority of young people, I had an ordinary life until a certain moment of my life where everything rocked. I was diligent and hardworking. I remember that every holiday, I had to do something that could give me some income. I thus proudly contributed to my tuition fee and my personal needs, which made me independent in some way.

Besides, I began to build a project of life that could launch me into a certain career. All this until one day, precisely during a novena dedicated to Mother Teresa of Calcutta, I felt a call. Like her, I listened to Jesus telling me, "I'm thirsty". I then knew a feeling that I had never experienced before. As if Jesus were saying to me, "I need you," "the sacrifice of your youth." I then started the discernment with the help of Father Romeo. And it was then that I understood that Jesus cried out so because he was looking down from the cross so many people who had not yet received the immense gift of the faith. Like that was born spontaneously in me the desire to continue this divine mission. Journeying with Father Romeo, he introduced me to the project of Conforti, or rather I will say the project of God through Conforti which is to announce the good news of Jesus Christ to non-Christians. I immediately found this project fabulous because it clearly reflected the flame that was burning inside me. That is why after a moment of discernment I expressed the desire to dedicate myself to God as Xaverian missionary.

Today, I am studying theology in the Xaverian international community in Manila, Philippines. My brother, if today the Lord calls you do not hesitate, just leap into his arms because I assure you when we have met the Lord, we realize at the same time how much in his fidelity and his tender love he had waited for us for a long time, but that we were the one putting filters and having fears or doubts... hesitating to embrace him once and for all.

Our life is a gift from God. God always manifests his mysterious love for us even when we do not realize it. O! How beautiful it is to start loving in Jesus Christ. Come then and let us quench the thirst for Jesus Christ together. Thank you!
