I am Erik Tjeunfin, 31 years old and from West Timor, Indonesia. I am a Xaverian Missionary
I have 4 siblings and I am the youngest. My father is a former elementary school teacher, while my mother is a housewife. Before entering Xaverian, I wanted to become an elementary school teacher like my father.
I knew Xaverian through my high school friends and a magazine and I decided to enter Xaverian as soon as I finished my studies. The reasons why I joined Xaverian were the sense of family and the service done by the Fathers in the community.
Now, I am in fourth-year theology In the Philippines. I feel happy because just last June I made my final profession.
In the future, I want to have my mission here in Asia or Africa.
My message to the youth is “God does need our help to proclaim his message to those who don’t know it yet. So, let us do it together.
